Anthem Prep | Archway Anthem has partnered again with Barnes and Noble to provide one-stop shopping for your student’s consumable book needs.  Barnes and Noble is hosting an online and in-store Book Fair for our school.  A portion of the proceeds from all books (not just school consumables) purchased during the book fair dates will be donated back to the school.  We then use those proceeds to purchase books for families in need.

To help raise money for our families in need by purchasing books at Barnes and Noble, please reference  the following book fair number when making any purchase at Barnes and Noble online or in-store from Friday, August 7, 2020 to Monday, August 10, 2020:

Please note that families are not required to purchase school supplies or consumables from these vendors.

At the beginning of each academic year textbooks are issued to each student to use at home for the remainder of the year. While at home these textbooks remain the property of Anthem Prep | Archway Anthem and require a deposit that is fully refundable upon return of the textbook in permissible condition. If you would like to purchase an additional textbook please contact the front office for ISBN information.

It is the tradition of Great Hearts and Anthem Prep | Archway Anthem to inspire students to develop a personal library of literary classics they can keep, annotate and return to throughout their academic careers. Therefore we encourage parents to purchase these “Classics to Keep” as shown on our consumables lists so that your student may graduate with an impressive library of literary masterpieces. However for families that do not wish to purchase these texts, students will be given access to an academy copy to be used as a part of the curriculum. Students should not mark in the books provided by Anthem Prep | Archway Anthem and should be returned once classwork is finished.

“Classics to Keep” are available through Barnes and Noble and other fine retailers. When purchasing these texts please see the provided titles and ISBN numbers. So that all students use the text aligned with the class and curriculum, parents MUST purchase texts with the exact ISBN provided.

Several of the consumables are available only through the Great Hearts portal. As confirmations are received for each order, the books will be placed in your student’s locker or otherwise delivered to your student.

To purchase consumables sold exclusively by Anthem Prep | Archway Anthem, please go online to the our payment portal,, and order your consumables early.

Supply Lists

In regards to backpacks and lunchboxes for Archway (grades K-5) students, please note the following:

Students may bring backpacks and lunchboxes to and from school.  These items must be stored on the designated shelving units in the classroom during the school day.  Due to small storage spaces, rolling backpacks are not permitted without a doctor’s note.  Backpacks and lunchboxes should be free of icons of pop culture (peace signs, cartoon characters, tie-dyed patterns etc.) as well as messages that are offensive or inappropriate to the academy environment.

Be sure to also review the Uniform Standards.
