95+ juniors and seniors received support from college counseling to discuss college options, review applications, and provide letters of recommendation
60+ curriculum packets created and printed for all students
11+ live social media instruction videos and activities for families
More than 55% of families have already supported our 2019-20 #CommunityInvestment Campaign. Will you join them with a one-time gift of $20.20 to honor our 2020 graduates?
It’s hard to believe that there is only one week of school left, and what a school year it has been! This is definitely one for the history books.
Speaking of history books, textbooks and combination locks (if your student’s lock was returned to you) must be returned to room 219 on Friday, May 22 at the times indicated as follows according to your student’s last name:
A – E: 8:00 – 9:30 AM
F – L: 9:30 – 11:00 AM
M – R: 12:00 – 1:30 PM
S – Z: 1:30 – 3:30 PM
We will have tables set up in room 219 according to your student’s grade to accept the return of the books. Please note that we will be following social distancing guidelines, so be sure to stay six-feet apart from the person in front of you.
Have you borrowed a device from the school? If so, please bring the device to room 221 (adjoining rooms 219/220) to return your device. Again, please arrive to return your device according to the stated times of textbook drop off as above – even if your student is not returning any textbooks. This will help us limit the amount of people on campus.
Have you purchased a yearbook? Yearbooks will also be available for pick up in room 221. Please arrive to pick up your student’s yearbook also according to the stated times of textbook drop off as above. Again, please follow this time guideline even if you are not dropping off any textbooks. This will again help us limit the amount of people on campus.
Thank you for your continued support, understanding, and patience as we close out school year 2019/2020. We appreciate our families!

Mrs. Clark, Mr. Goodrich, and the PSO are excited to announce a new PSO structure for next year; that is, we will have a separate PSO for each school with a shared treasurer. The PSO has done valuable work over the years serving our K-12 community but we believe Anthem Archway and Prep will be even better supported with separate PSOs. This will enable both entities to focus specifically on the different needs of Archway and Prep (with some collaboration). Our hope and expectation is that this will also lighten and simplify the requirements of serving on the PSO. We are excited to build and shape these groups moving forward and invite anyone who would like to be a part of this exciting, new support of our school to email Megan Magerkurth, PSO Secretary (firstname.lastname@example.org)

As we wind down the current school year it’s time to start planning for school year 2020/2021! The consumables and supplies lists for Archway and Prep have been uploaded to our website. Please use this link to find the lists for your student’s grade: https://anthemprep.greatheartsamerica.org/academics/booksupply-lists/
Great Hearts has changed our volunteer approval process for the 20-21 school year. If you would like to be an approved volunteer for school year 2020/2021, or if you were a previously approved volunteer through a fingerprint background check, please click on the link below. All volunteers, regardless of previously-approved status, are required to apply through the Raptor system. It should only take 10 minutes to fill out the information. You will receive an answer from our Raptor system within 48 hours. The cost is $5.00. All volunteers must be approved through this process; there are no exceptions.
Please note, when selecting the school it will not separate the Archway and Prep (except Scottsdale). For Anthem Prep | Archway Anthem, please choose “Great Hearts – Anthem.” The system will approve you for both schools. You can choose multiple campuses if that applies to your family.
As you complete the online application, please note that you will be asked to choose what volunteer position in which you are interested. Choosing a volunteer position does not restrict you from volunteering in another capacity.
If you have any questions or concerns you can reach out to John Lund, Great Hearts Safety Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We look forward to seeing you on campus next year!
