|A Note from the Director of Operations: Jennifer Sylvester
Welcome back to school! It is so refreshing to see your students’ shining and smiling faces as we enter our third week. It feels like summer break has just flown by!
I would like to remind you of our parking lot etiquette before the school year proceeds much farther.

All drivers and families:
Thank you for your help in keeping all of our students safe!
A Note from the Assistant Headmaster, Archway: Sarah Hoagland
Galileo testing–All students in grades 2-5, will be assessed four times this year using a standardized test in both Reading and Math. This is done in order to track student growth, identify students who are falling behind, and react quickly in providing necessary interventions if possible. These tests are not a part of your student’s grades and there is no preparation for them. This is not to be confused with state standardized testing that will be done in March and April for students in grades 3-5. Please contact Mrs. Hoagland at email@example.com if you have any questions.
A Note from the Regional Academy Giving Manager: Diane Tyson
My name is Diane Tyson and I have the privilege of as serving as the Academy Giving Manager for our school community. My role at Anthem Prep | Archway is to raise the funds for our school that make our educational model possible. I look forward to partnering with you throughout the school year to support our great academy. In the meantime, please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or 623.223.1588 should you need any assistance starting your school year.
Thank You Students & Parents
We would like to extend a huge thank you to all of our students and parents that came out to help the front office sort books, stuff folders, fill lockers, and help with other tasks during the summer to help get ready for the new school year: Annika Paluch, Melanie Preddy, Zachary Foy, Ryan Quirk, Aidan Quirk, Aaron Motter, Ben Motter, Ethan Dumpit, Kegan Wadsworth, David Mickley, Hannah Soliman, Melissa Luft, Stephanie Motter, Kirsten Wadsworth, Karen Beeman, Kara Rijke, Melissa Hatley and Melissa McGrath.
Dress Code Reminder
We are beginning to settle into this school year and as we do we’d like to remind you to look over the dress code in the family handbook (Dress Code 2019-2020.docx for the dress code from the handbook). We have been addressing issues on our side but if you can catch them at home that would help us and probably be easier for your children. It is always very important to keep the “why” of the dress code in mind. At AP, we try to reduce the noise our students experience so they can focus whole-heartedly on the curriculum and meaningful relationships. Part of this noise is clothing. At AP, students don’t have to compete to have the nicest or trendiest clothes, they don’t have to worry about being judged, etc. We are unified in form. As we have dress code rules, it is imperative to uphold them.
Here are a couple of quick reminders:
Thank you for your support.
We are excited to announce several club opportunities for our Archway students. At this time, please note that the Art Club for quarter one and Homework Club are full and currently have wait listed students.
Enrollment is taken on a first come, first served basis. Payment and other information are in the flyers so please read them carefully.
If you have any questions, please contact club coordinators directly.
