|A Note from the Regional Academy Giving Manager: Diane Tyson
“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.”-Picasso
Did you know that over the course of grades 6-12, your Prep student receives over 200 hours of art instruction where they study ceramics from Ancient Greece to Van Gogh paintings? Students learn through studying great works the elements of art, principles of composition and how to draw, paint, and create masterpieces.
Did you know that your Archway student receives approximately 60 hours of art instruction a year? In grades K-3, they learn about elements of art, Sculpture, Architecture, Portraits, and Landscapes. In grades, 4-5, students review elements of art with a focus on art in the Middle Ages and art of the Renaissance.
This type of education is only possible through your generous support of our
Community Investment campaign.
